To ensure the highest quality standards for our materials, ongoing monitoring and control of production processes are a priority in the Polcoat laboratory.

A system that includes raw material verification, real-time testing of materials in production, and post-production checks enables swift responses to potential deviations, maintaining product consistency.

SUPPLIER AND RAW MATERIAL VERIFICATION

We guarantee the highest quality of components used in our materials. We work with experienced, reputable suppliers whose standards and products undergo multi-level validation before collaboration begins. Each component delivered to Polcoat is individually verified. Before it is approved for regular production, we assess the parameters of each component using the latest testing methods. Only materials that rigorously meet stringent quality criteria proceed to the next stages of production.

PRODUCTION PROCESS MONITORING AND CONTROL

Meticulous supervision of each production stage—coating, laminating, cutting, and final product preparation—ensures complete control over the product. Our monitoring systems and regular tests guarantee that all processes comply with industry standards. We examine materials during ongoing production, enabling an immediate response to any deviations from the norm and the implementation of corrective actions.

PRODUCT QUALITY CONTROL

Quality control in the adhesive materials industry plays a critical role in ensuring product reliability and durability. Manufactured materials are assessed for print quality, adhesive strength, and release forces. We monitor aging processes and durability under various conditions.

Thanks to rigorous procedures, we guarantee that every product leaving the laboratory is durable, consistent, and meets the highest quality standards.

Testing conducted at Polcoat complies with FINAT standards (FTM1, FTM2, FTM3, FTM9, FTM10).

LABORATORY SERVICES

We offer laboratory services that meet the highest quality standards. We are an experienced team of specialists providing precise and reliable test results. Our services include, among others:• Determination of thickness and grammage of materials

• Measurement of the grammage of silicone coatings using X-ray fluorescence with a spectrometer;
• Evaluation of the tightness of coatings on papers;
• Assessment of water absorption of paper products using the Cobb method;
• Evaluation of sensitivity and intensity of thermal paper copying at different head energy levels and printing speeds, along with optical density measurements using a densitometer;
• Measurements conducted according to FINAT methodology, primarily aimed at controlling adhesive properties to various surfaces (glass and steel), peel forces (delamination), and the quality of silicones using standardized tape, as well as measuring initial forces and the stability of silicone coatings. The applied standards include FTM 1, FTM 2, FTM 3, FTM 4, FTM 10, and FTM 11.
