As part of the Smart Growth Operational Program 2014-2020, we carried out a research and development project titled “Development of coating technology for papers with modified release and hydrophobic compositions featuring low tolerance for coating weight variability and selective application” (application no: POIR.01.01.01-00-0622/19).
We implemented the results of industrial research and development work into our business operations by starting production of an improved range of various paper types.
Our product offerings now include:
- Linerless paper
- Gloss self-adhesive paper
- Matte self-adhesive paper
- Semi-gloss self-adhesive paper
- Thermal topcoat paper
Production is based on innovative coating technology using a coating head and a line for UV-cured web coatings developed as part of this project.
Our aim was not only to meet our customers’ expectations but also to deliver innovative solutions that raise the quality standards of our industry. With this new technology, our products have become even more reliable and user-friendly. Key features of the enhanced products include:
- Low tolerance for the distribution of release coating weight and controlled release force,
- Selective application of hydrophobic and release coatings,
- Reduced silicone absorption into paper structure,
- Enhanced coating for thermal paper.
